The Country Club of FloridaThe Village of Golf, FloridaThe Western Golf Association returns to The Country Club of Florida on Florida's Atlantic Coast for the 2012 Western Junior Championship. This revived a long relationship with the historic country club which last hosted a Western Golf Championship in 1958 when the Western Amateur was played there. The Country Club of Florida has deep roots with the Western Golf Association. In fact, in 1957 Chick Evans was part of the group that planted the first grass seed on the property. Since then the club has had an illustrious history and remains a gem in south Florida. |
